When I went to see Velvet Revolver back in 2004, their very first tour, they had an opening band. Living Things from St. Louis. When Bombs Below kicked in, I was fuckin' hooked. I didn't pay attention to the lyrics at the time, but the energy, angst, and music spoke for itself. That was my first taste, and I promptly bought Resight Your Rights the next day. They gave away a free EP at the gig, but they were gone. I'm glad they released a new album, different from their first-Ahead of the Lions, that has the same integrity as when I saw them the first time. KILLER !
